Men vs. Women: Website Optimization Usability Study – Website Magazine

“A recent study on usability found that men prefer fast download speed to easy navigation. Women prefer ease of use, easy navigation, and accessibility.”

Clearly we’re different, but these are interesting findings that again iterate the importance of understanding your users.  In a past project for a real estate project, I learned that women and men also vary in their affinity for gradients and rounded shapes, versus solid colors and squared shaped. Can you guess who prefers what? What’s YOUR ratio of male and female customers?
