Top Android Apps for Moms
Due to recent changes in my life, terrific changes in fact, I decided I wanted to share tools on the Android phone that can be used by women as we cross another giant milestone in our lives. Below are my top seven Android apps for Moms.
Android Apps for Expectant Moms

Mom2Be is an Android app that tracks the progress of your pregnancy. Some features include a journal that can be exported to a blog and also shared with family and friends, weekly tips, and daily growth stats. Also, you get a Mom2Be prescription card to obtain 10-75% off your prescriptions.

BabyBump Pregnancy Pro is also a pregnancy app. This app comes with more features than the Mom2Be app naturally, since it is not free. Other features it offers are a kick counter to track your baby’s kicks, a place to upload photos, an area to add contraction details, and tips for baby and mom are partitioned. The user interface on this Android app is also more visually well designed.

MomsZeal is a community for mothers to ask and answer questions, and share thoughts to help each other thrive and conquer the challenges they face in the brave new world of motherhood. The mom app includes features like photo sharing, community polls, and allows for private conversations.

TotTimer provides timers and reminders of all the essentials a baby would need such as diaper changes, food, nap time, medicine, temperature checks, etc. This mom app is sophisticated enough to track more than one infant. You can also upload your data onto the Tot Timer website to obtain detailed stats on your baby’s progress.

Kids Eat For is an Android app for the moms who are trying to save here and there, the ones with foresight. This app will tell you when and where kids can eat for free. It will show you restaurants nearby where you can snag a free meal for your little one or ones. It even provides Yelp reviews and kids menus.
Note: Since restaurants are within rights to change their policies, I would call the restaurant ahead of time to verify the deal.

Sex Offender Search is a very useful app to have for mom and dad. Protect your kids by being aware of the criminals in your area and the places that you frequent. This app provides access to the National Sex Offender Registry. Not only can it locate the sex offenders near you, but also provides detailed records of these criminals. You can also opt-in to receive email alerts of new activity in your neighborhood.

Emergency Calls is an Android app that allows you to assign certain phone numbers to ring even when your phone is on silent. For those career moms who are always busy in board meetings, this would be a good app to have. It even rings if you missed a number of calls from the same phone number.
