Karen Fojas Lee, Creative Director

Award-winning creative director and founder of Nomad Chique, Karen Fojas Lee, is driven by both the science and art of user experience design. She creates compelling visual designs for websites and branding assets using a rock-solid, user-centered design process. Over the past decade, Karen’s experience as a UX designer and marketing professional has given her keen insight into corporate marketing strategy and campaign development.

Karen holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, majoring in Marketing and a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Design from The Ohio State University. She studied abroad at the Kunsthochschule Berlin-Weissensee and participated in cross-cultural design work at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. She continues to supplement her education at Art Center College of Design, Art Center at Night as well as other professional training.

Karen is also a Consulting Senior Visual Designer and CUA (Certified Usability Analyst) for Human Factors International as well as Consulting Creative Director for Usability.org where she has worked with Fortune 500 companies in a number of verticals including banking, finance, education, and government agencies. In her free time, she loves to travel and go on adventures with her family, keep up with her new little girl, and do a little photography, drawing, and sketching.
