Nomad Chique: Visual Experience Design

As a user experience designer I always like to do new-fangled things and go to novel places to keep my experiences fresh, which translates to more creative and innovative designs in my work. Next stop Mindshare LA. Check out the sharing of minds that took place at this event.

Last Saturday, I participated at another excellent iPhone/iPad huddle, the Hello Universe Seminar, hosted at Co-Working Fullerton by Rutger Hensel. It was a 1-day meetup to learn, share and connect – specifically, it was geared toward developers, product & graphic designers, UI designers, UX designers, business strategists, legal counsel, and current & future iPhone/iPad entrepreneurs. I found this helpful video on how to take homemade DVD video and convert it so it can be used on a website or somewhere like YouTube. Good guidelines on what settings to use on some kind of freeware, like Handbrake. I’m going to test this out this week.
